BRETT IRWIN
A good story well told. With over 20 years experience in storytelling and the craft of editing, I have been fortunate to work on a wide variety of award-winning films and television series.
From 35mm feature films and feature documentaries, to being lead editor on landmark series for Apple, Amazon, BBC, C4, Discovery, Netflix, PBS and Showtime, I have both a passion and talent for consistently delivering high-quality work across the different genres.
I primarily use Avid, but I have cut projects on Final Cut and I have little trouble learning new software. I am comfortable working under instruction, or being left to "find" the film in the rushes. I'm happy working closely with the director in the edit suite, or working remotely, using the technologies available today, to communicate with the production team in a creative and highly collaborative manner.
